Tomorrow’s Case Management Conference
Hello secret emailers!
Sorry it’s been quiet of late – I’ve been putting together a piece on a currently suspended Subpostmaster which I was hoping to publish earlier this week. There has been a development in his case so he’s asked me to hold off from publishing just yet. Frustrating for me, but wholly understandable given the position he’s in. I hope I will get a chance to publish it, though, as it adds yet another dimension to the Horizon saga.
The Horizon Trial
Tomorrow’s Case Management Conference takes place in Court 1 of the Rolls Building. It starts at 10.30am.
I suspect it will have a few nuggets of interesting information and a lot of to-ing and fro-ing about the content, if not the format of the Horizon trial.
Also – during tomorrow’s conference the date of the Common Issues trial judgment will be “addressed”. I hope we’ll get a date for when it will be handed down. I’m not holding my breath, though.
I’m not going to tweet a blow-by-blow tomorrow as this is very likely to be a day of tedious legal wrangling, but I will tweet any decision of note and I will write it up afterwards on the www.postofficetrial.com blog.
If you are unfamiliar with twitter, reading tweets is simple. To read mine, just click here. That’s all you have to do. No logging in or anything like that. If you want to reply or get involved you have to set up a profile, but just reading tweets is simple. It’s just a website.
Okay that’s it. The reason I can be at court tomorrow is entirely down to you, my patrons. Thanks very much for your donations and let’s hope we get some clarity on the first and second trials tomorrow!
Yours
Nick
